Mission Impossible films tend to be reasonably entertaining romps, but if the franchise’s pint-sized lead actor isn’t your cup of tea, maybe one of the latest MI film’s other stars - a ‘Silverstone II’ silver F80 M3 - might convince you to buy a ticket. It’s just been spotted in Rabat, Morocco, being thrashed about and painfully clattering down some steps while being filmed.

The film will be released in December 2015, and other than the BMW, it stars Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Alec Baldwin and Paula Patton.

Everybody knows that all the best films have car chases, and it seems as though the Mission Impossible 5 crew has taken that mantra to the extreme for their new movie.

We’ve already seen a BMW M3 getting mercilessly abused at the hands of Tom Cruise and his stunt drivers, but these photos indicate that the super saloon abuse was widespread.

We can only hope these were bog-spec 3s, wrapped up in sparkly M gubbins - it always feels like such a waste when movies wreck perfectly useful performance cars!

Holy hell I want to cry... can they not give me one, seriously!! I will take that poor m3 in, kick the gf out the bed and put her next to me until she recovers.

Seriously what do they do with these cars when they done? They dont look destroyed beyond repair...

The money that these fat movie Americans have is just absurd... this actually makes me angry. #heartbroken.

At the end of the day it's just some product that came off an assembly line. Bmw probably made thousands more since then, and wrote off those to the marketing budget.
