Anyone who is not happy with their f80 m3, myself and divio are willing to purchase it at a financed price if R400k.

We are not choosy about colour, or interior colour, motorplan must be active and car must be in good condition.

Many thanks

Regards

Firi...

On a serious note, some good points you male there OP with regard to deliverability etc...but one has got to remember, the m4 m3 is probably so popular because it manages the everyday hussle so well...then again, I've never driven one or sat in one to comment (*cough @riyo cough *).

2- The car sounds atrocious- there is no exhaust note

Good write up.

I agree with you on many points, for me personally I think an M3/4 f80/2 is a nice daily driver but it doesn’t give that special feeling which makes it a nice weekend toy.

Well written review.

I agree with one of the above posts on getting a Porsche. Not as powerful as the M, but more usuable, perhaps.

A 911 Carerra or Cayman is my dream in the next 4 years. Will have to be a used one though.

I've said this from having driven an M4 back in 2015, BMW have hit the nail on the head for a daily driver(previous M3s not so much), but at the cost of it not being a special weekend toy anymore.

In the real world of the masses, BMW have taken a step in the right direction, in the eyes of a purist... SACRILEGE:roflol:

The exhaust note on these cars is so bad most would go for a c63 for the v8 growl.
Also agree traction is absolutely non existent.
More fun to be had in an m2 or mx35i

I’ve got a c63 and an m135i and the only honest reason I see for buying an m3/4 would be for looks.

Great write up, always thought exactly that of the car.
I had an E36 M3 , E46 M3 and E92 M3.

My buddy owns an F80 m3, and just from spending time in the car, I realized i would not be making the change to the M4. Sad , but it just lacks the "special" i look for in a car.

No experience with the stock f80, but having had an e46 m3, e92 m3s and now a f80 competiton pack in the family, I love how it can actually be a daily vehicle with no hassles, perhaps it took away the joy, but I personally don't feel it, it's a car with two personalities that does everything up to 9 tenths. I enjoy it more at its performance limits too in comparison to the previous two, but that's just me. It does get a bit traction limited, less so than the e92 I feel though.

Either way a great car.
