F30s

Still only two F30s on the registry.

How many F30s have you seen on the road? I asked Daly Klerksdorp yesterday and they said they sold 8 so far.

I have only seen 2 on the road so far - both white. Even on the showroom they only had white, black and silver. Anyone seen any other color on the road yet?

Saw a black 335i at Auric Auto (lady driver collecting it), a couple of white 320d's and a white 320i. I know Auto Alpina have had at least 10 F30's. They were black, white, silver, light and blues with different interior finishes.

On the road, I have seen a white 335i in JHB and another in Bellville. Have slso seem about five 320d's. Seems like arctic white is a popular colour.

I suspect one of these days the BMW Fanatics F30 ownership list will grow. :thumbs:

Give it a few months! Have already seen a few on the road over here. Must still get my Fanatics cards from Charles next time I see him, but hopefully can get a few new owners to join here!

the long delivery period probably means that many have ordered them but not taken delivery.


ive seen at least 8 on the road so far. even saw one at the Menlyn Drive in on Saturday night. Was a 320d, white, brand new. no plates on the car as yet.

Seen a sort of charcoal grey colour 335i on my way to work, looks like a mini me 5 series in a good way compared to the E90, its alot higher in terms of ground clearance.

We have a dark red one in town and then also the graphite coloured one. Red looked nice.

Friend of mine said a dealership told him demand on the F30 is low. Any truth in that? According to him the new one series sells better. Wasnt the 3 series always the best selling BMW?

Give it a few months, people are ordering the cars because of all the available customization.

Three months we will see plenty more on the road, was the same with the MINI Countryman.

The guys from Auric told me this as well. It was almost impossible for me to find my preferred spec F20 (for instance, SMG didn't have even *one* in stock towards the end of March - in the end, I got mine from Bethlehem and drove it down to CPT), but apparently the F30's option pricing is causing a bit of hesitation among usually decisive buyers...
