F30 wheel check

Sup all,

Looking at some new wheels for the F30.

Specs of the wheels I like;
19x9" ET30 front
19x10" ET30 rear

Current spec (OEM):
19x8" ET36 225/40/R19 front
19x8.5" ET47 255/35/R19 rear

Questions;
1) Would they fit flush enough (IE not stick out the fenders)
2) Can I reuse current tires (as they're only 2000kms old) (think they may stretch too much)
3) If I did an ACS spring set would I have rubbing issues?
4) Lastly, has anyone dealt with Autostyling Klerksdorp?

www.willtheyfit.com isn't helping much tbh.
Maybe I'm too dumb to work it out.:hammerhead::hammerhead:

Thanks

For reference, here's the results from willtheyfit...

I tried the site and got the following:
The most it can tell you is that the wheel will be 6.7mm closer to your suspension and 18.7mm closer to the fender. You have to measure on the car to see if you have this space, or someone with a similar setup can give feedback.

There is considerably more width in the rear, with 2.1mm movement towards the suspension and 36.1 mm movement toward the fender.

There will be some stretch on the tyre, that will be up to your personal taste. I would prefer a 245/35 on a 9in and 275/30 on a 10in wheel

Lowering a car doesn't neccesarily mean more rubbing, some springs are stiffer and allow less travel compared to stock, so less rubbing. Personally, I wouldn't want any rubbing. In your case ( and mine) Msport springs are stiffer than normal, so if it rubs on msport springs, it will most probably rub with lowered springs.

If i use @Fuzz* car as an example he has

Rear: 19x9.5J et33
Front: 19x8.5J et35 with 5mm spacers ( unless the setup changed)

He had rubbing at the rear and sorted it out with camber adjustment, your set would be 9mm further out at the rear which will rub badly

The fronts, even with the 5mm spacers ( according to the thread 8mm was the plan), your fronts would 6mm further out, again high risk of rubbing.

So, went back to the drawing board today. The rears were touching a bit, so upon inspection, noticed that the rear camber was set to -1.5deg and not -2.0deg as requested. I wasn't particularly happy about how far in the front was sitting as well.

The solution:

Camber in the rear set to -2.6deg
Front camber still on -1.0deg, however I added a 5mm spacer on each side. Tried the 8mm which would be ideal, but the bolts are too short. I could fit longer bolts, but that would mean carrying around two locknuts which I see as impractical.

Anyway, here's the look after the new adjustments:

Rear fitment with a bit better gap for travel

Front fitment decent, however could be more, but I'll leave it as is for now.

An idea of the rear concave

A before and after

Next steps:

- fit carbon spoiler
- fit a single exit diffuser
- source a boot spoiler

Thanks for all the kind words and advice thus far guys :blowheart:
