technical F30 switching off when I stop while auto start/stop is off

My F30 is starting to give me some funny issues , 1. few seconds bad iddling 2. today it just switched off while I was stationery , and auto start/stop was off.

All of this happens without any errors popping up on the infortainment display

is this a common issue ?

Not anywhere near a mechanic, but these issues you're having shouldn't be happening. Not a common issue, far as my experience goes.

When you say it switched off when stationery, is it the auto stop/start even though it is disabled or shutting off for some other reason? Do you have to press the stat button again or just lift your foot off the brake?

It might be switching off due to some other issue (battery running flat, lack of fuel, air flow, etc.)

Focusing on the auto stop/start feature might be derailing from the actual issue.
