Hello everyone, I was searching on forums and youtube but can’t find a solution. I have an F30 with bi-xenon lights which means I have angel eyes. Above angel eyes is one strip and it lights up like angel eyes but in my case that strip doesn’t work on left side. I was wondering if someone had similar problem or knows do I need to change complete light or bulb or some module, any help is appreciated. Sorry for my bad english ?

Welcome to the forum bro, introduce your self and upload some photos of your ride when you get a chance. I have F30 with bi-xenon and never noticed that there were strips that switches on with the lights. Let me check and will come back to you

ok, I can confirm that mine don't work. I think they are just there for decoration or maybe they need to be activated by coding or something.

So on the F30 Pre-LCi the above strip is referred to as the eyebrow, normally comes on with the headlights...

On the F30 LCI, the above strip is as indicator as well...

I am sure there must be a way to change the globe, try using your VIN and the realOEM website to check the parts descrition to get a better idea.

Welcome to the forum bud!

Thank you all for fast response, this is photo of my car, I hope you can see difference, one eyebrow doesn’t work. It’s 2013 so it’s pre LCI. I will check out realOEM when I get back home tonight.

Some car info: After couple of e36’s and e46’s I got myself a 320d auto f30, it’s my first diesel car and it’s daily car. It has a lot of equipment such as harman kardon sound system, leather m seats, sunroof, head display, acc (big square sensor), 360 parking cameras, and many other stuff, only thing that is missing is m bumpers.

Thanks for nice behaviour and your help ?

Mine is a 2014 and both don't work and I had the car from New. I need to search on how to enable them to work. Normally when you have a blown bulb, there should be a warning on your display to say which bulb is blown

Mine stopped working recently, display shows nothing, I was hoping that someone knows if it’s bad bulb or not replacable. Thanks for any help

If I had the same spec vehicle, my car still being on motorplan, i would have come over an swapped with my working light and go claim through motorplan.

I've heard stories from friends who knows apprentices that told them stories of certain dealerships doing things of some sort with regards to claiming on warranty.

rule of thumb:
Warranty pays for replacement of a component unlimited times, as long as failure occurs within its Warranty Term
Warranty pays for part failure when maintenance or customer pays , within 1 or 2 years of replacement date (example : BMW motorplan pays for output shaft in Feb 2019 , Output shaft fails August 2019 , its now a part failure claim that warranty pays for)

Not sure if the same applies to BMW , but I've Audited in a warranty department in the past.
