BMW Power.

The m3 is photoshopped. They just added the tail lights. The shadows are the same.
Very little cosmetic difference.
Nothing like the lci on the e90.
Maybe that's a good thing. The older models won't take such a hiding.

Such change. Very difference...

Seriously the only difference I spot is the internal styling of the lights. And of course the 340i is out.

Wow that is basically the same. I guess they got it right the 1st time.

Interestingly if you think of it, the E30, E46 & E90 got big facelifts, but the E36 & E39 & this baby had such minimal changes made

What is the point of a facelift, if no one can spot the difference?

Yes I know the front and rear lights are slightly different, but if you don't see the old and new one back to back, you will never notice the difference

Nothing new in their approach to lci - BMW hasnt done any major facelifts in a long long time (aside from the f20).. I think this a better solution to facelifts, rather refresh, Vs. a major change. Also the minor changes actually make the longevity of the design a lot better. Also the under skin changes are far more extensive (engine changes), and therefore expect a larger difference in vehicle performance (in all aspects). This keeps the car competitive in light of new launches (C class and a4).

Only way I can spot the difference is that all the lcis have the reverse lights on top of the cluster as opposed to the bottom on the pre lcis. The cars look good so I wouldn't change anything either if it were my design. Under the bonnet is what counts :)
