Good to see that BMW are starting to fit proper man-brakes to more of their models

Yep! Very nice and beefy looking brakes up front - also love these wheels! Looks like the faces are a polished sort of metal finish with the insides painted, but it's actually all just painted in this grey-ish high gloss colour, stunning effect it has I think! :inlove:

Love the mags also.. :=):
That pic was at 8 in the morning, couldn't wait longer for them to say ok you can come in and have a look...

So i started my own little tour in there and the dealer probably thought this one's nuts we not even open yet...

Stuff them i wanna see before everybody else gets there.

Just wish i could afford one of them cause i think they really great looking cars..

Ok here goes... in my uneducated way :rollsmile:

Luckily we were allowed a short stint on the highway to the next offramp, turn around and back to the dealership.
Both test cars were basically full spec with what you would need and maybe want.
Sport line + servotronic steering + HUD and comfort access... well thats what i like.. :=):

328i - Lovely car to start off with, exhaust tone really not bad at all, getting into the car you can feel that it's safer and in a strange way more comfy than the E90. Slow drive to the highway to get the feel for the car and getting use to no having a clutch.. lol.
Once i hit the onramp to the highway i floored the car and it was really a pleasant surprise to feel that the power is there and consistent through the rev range and pulling nicely on the private strip till 180 where i have to take the turnoff.. at the robot before the onramp back to the dealer i select sport+ guy looks as me and i say yes i know dsc etc is off but wanna see what the car does on the slight bend back onto the highway... Robot goes green and again i'm off like a bat out of hell... in sport + it feels like the ride is firmer and throttle response better and still car has great power delivery right through the rev range. - pity the drive wasn't that long.

335i - Now this is a totally different ballgame altogether.. Start this car and it's like pure porn to listen to the i6 and i already know that this will be a drive i won't forget in a long time.. Same trip as with the 328i and according to the sales rep this car doesn't have alot more power than the 328i... Well i reckon that is crap cause the same trip and you easily get to 200 on the private strip.. Absolutely an amazing car and love the performance on this car. normal gear changes on the car is very very smooth and you can almost not even feel the changes, but playing with the DCT... totally different story and a really great drive... and that sound when it changes gears is to die for... i would even rob a bank to have one of these cars..

All in all really impressive cars, one thing i dont really like is even though the servotronic steering is much lighter it almost feel as if you don't have the same amount of control and precision steering but that might just be me...
