F30 MSport cracked fog lamp

Hi guys, for some reason I managed to crack my front right hand side fog lamp on my 8 week old F30 MSport. Maybe a stone? But it's right at the edge of the lamp....so where can I get a new fog lamp from at a lower cost than BMW, and how difficult is it to install?

Gosh it hurts to see my car like this:cry:

Check with Mr Lens. They keep a lot of replacement lenses for many many different models. The F30 is quite new so there is a slim chance here but just a phone call away. They have a website too. I referred a friend of mine there with his Civic Type R and they had :)

Good Luck bud!

Nope, just laminated both .....with blue laminate .....so the cracks still there.....but it's holding up, and prevents water from going in.

Doing the front fogs are easy once the covers are off. Here is what I did: start with a sharp object from the side furthest from the fog and pull the cover away until you can get a finger between the cover and the lower part of the bumper then just pull it off (this was on a non M sport though)

Putting it back though.. Gets interesting.. :=):

:thumbs::thumbs: will see if this works on the sport model also .. if not .. i'l just take off wheel arch and see whats going on behind the covers

Lens cracked on the F30 as well.
Spares Boyz here in Durbs had OEM lens housings for R600 a pair. In OEM packaging with BMW labels and part number.

Original Lamin-x is difficult to get hold of.. I only know of autostyle in JHB which sell the original - they can post it? Not endorsing anything here just saying I bought mine there..

Been running optic blue on the fogs since Oct last year and gunsmoke on the headlamps since Dec and still very pleased with the quality looks like new..
