So this coding thing. Can BMW pick it up and will they void your maintenance plan? Cant think that they would be too impressed with people coding themselves R10k+ worth of extras...
Doubt it, unless it throws an error code or something and you don't clear it before taking it in. You can always code it back to stock before you take it in.

I will just drive my 1/2 M sport like this for a while. Dont have any cables or software for coding. Dont think its a good idea for a noob like me to go scratching in the cars' brain either.
Also, saving for M exhaust :inlove: I can live without launch control, cant live without M exhaust :rollsmile:
As far as I know, if you have paddles, you have sport auto. No paddles, no sport auto.
From what I've read on the links provided on the previous page, its not hardware differences other than just the paddles. Rest can be activated through coding.
