If you guys would be so kind to share what you are paying for insurance and via whom on your various F30's? I'm trying to get a general idea of insurance costs on F30's. I've got a 2014 320d M-Sport and am 38 y/o.

Paying around 1k. I'm insured with Bryte.

2018 F30 320I Msport. I insured everything ontop of retail value. My aftermarket Rennzport accesories, Msport Shadowline package, Navigation. Concierge service, etc.
No access and I pay R1200 per month.
Also get around 20% in premiums back yearly. "safe day" things. It helps that I don't use the car for up to 5 days a a week. So "non driving days" mostly.

Over and above what's said, premiums depend on various risk factors. Car model, physical address, age, marital status, business or personal cover, etc

I'll have to double check. My schedule says Retail value. But then my extras are added on as well which amounts to R128k on its own. So just need to check the total amount it's insured for.

Yes thats correct.

I went to BMW and got them to print out a list of extras that my car came with along with the values.

Thereafter sent that list to the insurance company and added it on. For R128k extras my premium went up by around R150 or R200.

Do they cover cars which have been modified for speed?
Have you had to claim from Bryte before and if so, how would you rate them?

Yes they do cover mods, you would just have to disclose them.

Yes I've had two claims with them and they were extremely efficient, no issues.

It was BMW Umhlanga. You would have to contact the sales department. A salesman helped me out with getting what I needed.
