F30 fob logo quality

Guys what is the condition of the BMW emblem on your F30's fob. My 2014 model looks like this.

The emblems on my e46 and e90 were is perfect condition after 5 years when I sold the cars.

Im going to complain to the dealership and try and have it replaced under plan but they'll just tell me its wear and tear:thumbdo:

2013 and mine still looks mint.. well, the badge. I've dropped it once or twice so I've got a few scuffs.

I bought the badge for one of mine... also chipped off... but the replacement has been fine. Other key is perfect. I think if there is a deep enough scratch or chip it snowballs...

Generally those keys that don't stay in covers they generally loose that Color quickly...

But those that either have the leather cover or m performance cover they last long

I have mine now it's still practically brand new...

My 2013 looks perfectly fine, never had a cover. Wouldn't mind one of those blue ones, is that a cover or replacement casing?

Its a silicone cover. Can be had from ebay or even the china mall...around R80 or so

Anyone have the part number for the logo? I could only find part numbers for the e46/e90. Not sure if its the same for the F30

Have had no issues on any of mine... All keys are in the BMW Leather pouch though.. My mom's F series keys.... They are shot... She always uses her nailson the Fob.. That causes the damage.

The dealership had 2 in stock @ R80 each but the quality was extremely poor. The one emblem had light scratches and the other's color was off compared to the original. Maybe chinamall is supplying BMW:skit:
