Is that bad PCV noise?
Very typical.

The following from e90post forum:
The PVC vales are integrated into the VC and if they go bad they cause excess crankcase vacuum. This in turn draws air in past your main seals and makes a squealing sound. To test for a bad VC, remove the engine cover, remove the hard plastic cap over the vac nipple (right next to the electrical hazard sticker), using a tissue see if there is vac being drawn in (it will suck in the tissue). It does not have to be making sound to have vacuum at the nipple. If you have vacuum you need to replace the VC.
