I'm also jealous!! Pity you don't have for this weekend and the BMW Festival, but then we do have a nice run out to Franshoek next weekend!! :idea: :rollsmile:

I have arranged for collection on Thursday the 26th. I have some business in Cape Town to attend to on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

On the bright side, this means I will definitely be at the BMW festival.

Also, with next weekend spanning so many days I have the option to take longer to get back home.

May not be joining you guys on the Franschhoek drive though Let's see what happens.

How many km is the trip home?

The trip back is roughly 1450 to 1600 kilometres depending on the route taken. Nearly enough to get me to the recommended 2000 kilometre break in distance mentioned in the manual.

Great, I am sure that date won't change for again. My car has arrived at the dealership today :rollsmile: Got this image sent to me just after 17h00.

Re the signature, I downloaded two images from somewhere and used Photoshop to create what I am using now. Still have the original images, if you want them.

Thanks. I ordered from Auto Alpina because of their exceptional service. They always go the extra mile for us and due to this my family exclusively buy from this dealership.

Also, going to take a nice drive back to Cape Town and do some sight seeing.

Does the F30 have folding mirrors or is it just for transport?

To be honest, I don't know. Scoured the options list when I was specing the car and never saw this. I think it may just be for transport... Will let you guys know next week.
