That's actually another argument in favour of the 435i, then. The N55 has been around for yonks, is reliable, and any indie worth his salt is familiar with it and can work on it. The engine in the 330i would be the new Bxx(not sure of the code) 4cyl, which may or may not be reliable this early in its cycle, and not as transparent to the indies post MP.

Go get the 435i, its sublime.

that vehicle is a 2013 year model. Seems over priced.
I do feel the 4er looks sleeker and the handling will be that of a 2door.
The lack of rear doors usually is an issue if you have babies or elderly people.
Getting in and out shouldn't be an issue for your children at their age.

After viewing a few 435's , decided to buy new.

This was the first time in my life I considered 2nd hand, and it's such a waste of time visiting showroom after showroom.

Lol, why do you say that? Were the cars you've looked at just in bad shape?

My experience has been mostly positive when buying BMW Premium Selection or whatever they call BMW used vehicles flogged by BMW dealers.

But yeah, once you start visiting shark lots selling stuff like that "COLLECTORS ITEM" monstrosity you've linked above I can see why you'd get pissed off.

I can spot flaws a mile away.

I visited Zambezi BMW as well and wasn't too impressed . Ironically, The 330 I wanted ( probably buy for my wife) was in excellent condition. She has her heart set on a golf 7R as well, but I'm telling her to consider this 330.

The linked 435 above post was in terrible condition. The owner (who I know personally as well) was singing praises about this vehicle. So much lol , or should I say so much fail?

I would love the M4 but I feel a car as flashy as that is not in my best interest at this point in my life.
