I've had my exhaust done with the dual split (335i) style, but added a 300mm silencer in the middle

Ok

Did you do the complete exhaust. I assume you did.
Why did you add the 300mm silencer in the middle? Was there a drone. What diameter is the plumbing?

I just want to delete that massive rear silencer and replace with straight pipe. I want to keep the look original so ill keep both tail pieces on the left. Ive seen on the BMW performance exhaust they replace comllete exhaust with no resonator and only a silincer in the middle and no back silincer.

There is a resonator on the standard exhaust so I reacon just a split with 2 pipes in its place to the rear would work? Or is there a catch?

My Cuz did a downpipe with straight pipe on his F30 330d....sounds insane!

Will ask for a video and maybe I can send it to you to hear?

I did a similar setup to this. Full 76mm downpipe and exhaust but with a 250mm custom mid box, well not mid its just before the rear axle. didn't do the split like the 335i though.. I have no drone and its not to loud. I have videos on my thread. Link below...

I added the silencer to avoid any possible drone

Has anybody on the forum done an F30 330d rear muffler delete???

Although not on an F30, did a complete straight pipe on the wifes E90 330D, would sound pretty similar I imagine in a F30.

Here is a video of the sound.

Sounds even better in person!
