Hi all

Well after a long wait and contemplating whether to take the 47k plunge on ACS or do PPK , I decided to go ahead and do the ACS .:fencelook:

Vehicle was at JSN for about 3 hours, was waiting patiently , and then suddenly it rolls out of the workshop into parking lot , with distinct red little ACS 3.0d decal at the back

Test Drive.., well all I can say is its like driving a different car. The ACS guys has unleashed some sort of demon in it.

Thanks for Shaun at JSN BMW for the awesome service.

After 500kms of driving, decided to run it on rollers and to my surprise the figures turned out good and as expected from Ac schnitzer. Any regrets on hefty investment ... hell no:joy::joy:

Nice one bud!!! From all I've seen with my research, you are now the strongest 330d that's been on KAR's dyno without the use of water/meth. Those are some super impressive numbers!! My E90 330d with full mods made 201.8kw and 633Nm so you jumped right past that!!:thumbs: Car must be running like an absolute monster!!

That is strong! Well done. Would love to see this car in action.

Is this just a sw update? Or hw as well?

Hi Arbee , thanks, its basically a kind of a piggy back unit, that hooks up to the 6 Diesel injectors and exhaust sensor

Just a random point of information during reading up about plug and play system on the diesels. The "cheaper" plug and play devices such as the race chip I have, plugs into the common rail system while the more expensive chips such as the acs control the injectors independently. How this translates to performance and reliability I'm not sure.

those are insane numbers.., congrats...

i always wonder though.., even though all dynos are setup differently, why is it that the graph is adjusted by 30% and for petrol normally aspirated. Some say it makes a difference others say no..... it does not change the fact that theres a massive difference in your curve before and after though.

Thanks Sash

Not too sure as to why it is setup that way , but from observation all of KAR dyno readouts are based on that format. I will pose that question to Shane the next time I am there.

Those are SUPER impressive numbers! My word!
These 30d's are already quick in stock form, you will easily kill a stock 135i now! Easily!

How is the traction in 1st-3rd with all that torque?

lets see that ACS 30d sticker man
