My wife hates my F30 M Sport, even though she is a BMW fan. Ride is too hard and steering too heavy at parking speeds for her. I would ditch the M Sport and go for a standard model or just a Sport Line model instead, if she has similar gripes.

If you have kids, it has isofix in the rear seats, but the doors don't open out fully to make removal and fitment of childseats easy (if you have the seat that clips out and fits onto the pram).

Let her test drive the car first before buying.

Thanks for the note... no little kids anymore ;)

She drove an E90 M Sport... and she is going to test drive it first.

No risk with the 320i with that mileage ... will i have to break into a bank if anything goes LoL

Might want to look into this prior to purchase: N20 Known issues

Thank you TMan...

Will do.

Never buy early N20 engine car, just never. At R16/L it's also a expensive daily driver.

Just get a 320D and call it a day.

The steering is a lot lighter than the e90,so I am sure that wouldn't be a problem. These f30 320is are good cars, but I would much rather look at a 320d. The 320d pulls a lot better and is at least 40-50% lighter on fuel and has significantly less "known issues".

Thank you... Read the N20 issues and it is kind of scary.

E90 320D - I will have to go and check it out.

Thanks Schalk.

e90 320d with 105 000kms - safer buy?

The E90 does have damper pulley needing replacement at around 150k, other than that is pretty solid.

Through I would try and get F30, the 8-speed box is miles ahead of the 6-speed.

2012 will be F30, so that has the 8-speed box.

Any 2012 f30 shape will have the 8-speed. The e90 shape would have 6-speed.
