F30 320d maintenance advice

Hi all,

Hope everyone is well. In an effort to stay on top of maintenance I've started this thread for my own sake. I've already taken maintenance advice that I've received here before and applied that. The car has 110k km on the clock now. Its the B47 motor. The car has a full service history with BMW.

Maintenance/servicing done up to now:

The car had a major service at BMW at 98 000km at which point they did the below:

Both front shocks were also replace, both thrust rods for front stabilizer, coolant system checked for leaks, both front door locks replaced, alternator drive belt, AC system flushed and refilled and the connector for the water hose from the heater replaced.

Gearbox was serviced at ZF two months ago and was assured the box is in excellent health. Software and DP done.

Can you guys please advise anything else that is real important to do maintenance or service on at this stage or say in a year/km distance from now?

I am looking at replacing the windshield cowl (sun damage to the rubber) and would like to replace all the door rubbers. Car is going for an oil service within the next two weeks on my own accord - car says another 5000km before service.

Thanks in advance,

Looks like its time for SW + DP  :fencelook:

...its good practice to do an oil service every 10k kms /12 months ...these services arent too costly anyway.

Also keep an eye on boost pipes seals etc, doesn't hurt to do an intake clean with some off the shelf LM Products and additives.

Hey bud, inspect the vibration damper for wear/damage as well.

Agree with Riaad, definitely time for a remap and down pipe  :smilebounce:

Yes, let me know when you want to sell!! This car is like new after all the maintenance, etc. Would like some new rubber when you sell though!! Just joking! Am thinking of selling my 2005 530d  as well as the 2005 120d and getting an F30.  Nice all rounder. :fencelook:

Funny that is should make a comment like that (see above) as the car i bought (2016 F30 320d) had front shocks replaced on 98000kms under M/P and i did not know it untill i saw the M/P history of the car. Salt's car is a Motorsport if i am not mistaken. Mine is the plane Jane regular one but hope to at least fit nicer wheels and maybe paddle shift as i already have the s/wheel.

Hey hey...when did you get the F30? Pics? Which dealership did they do the front shocks at? But just be glad they did...means we're good to go for along time...shocks can be expensive :)
