Hi All,

Does anyone have a Service Schedule for F30 320D, The Car is just out of MP and has recently been checked by BMW before MP Expired.

105K Km Service is Due, I'm Planning to take advantage of the Oil Service Special currently on Offer @ BMW.

Can anyone advise me on what other Parts and filters that will require replacement at 105k? Which I intend doing on my own if possible.

Thanks

The brilliant thing about these cars, is that it will indicate on the onboard computer, exactly what is required & when. Change the part & immediately that notification will reset...it's that precise

That being said, you will still only know for sure (i.e. some extra items) when scan the key at the dealership

As its out of MP, I was thinking more of preventive maintenance, Like for sure Air Filter and Cabin Filter, Possibly Fuel Filter?

I Would Imagine there is a recommended replace period on specific parts?

Are you serious about the On board indicating parts replacement on general parts.

I would Imagine Brakes and coolant etc.. does it also have sensors across filters as well.. or is it some sort of AI based on calendar date and mileage.

Your motorplan printout should tell you when your filters were replaced and you can then decide whether it's necessary to replace or maybe wait for the car to tell you.

For a diesel with over 100k I would change oil, oil filter and air filter every 10000km. Cabin filter every 20000km.

Not sure on fuel filter.

Diesel filter is often skipped by BMW. As others have mentioned, look at your motorplan printout, and take it from there.

Other items: Be sure to do balancing & alignment. During this, glance over your pads, to see how much life is left (when the wheels are off). Suppose you can also think about changing coolant, power-steering fluid and brake fluid, but it might be overkill.

I take mine to dealership also out of plan.

Every service is oil change and oil filter. They sometimes to do aircon micro filter also.

Every 3rd service is major one, which is the oil change, oil filter, air filter, diesel fuel filter and aircon micro filter.

Assuming BMW actually changed what motorplan paid for, you could use the history printout.

Its really a personal preference provided service tiems are not longer than BMW. I do oil changes every 10k km ( actually when theres 5000km left on my service interval) air filter every second service ( if not every service), fuel filter at least every 50000km.

Also put gearbox service on your list.
