Alex@Madnessmotorsport said:You can use Bimmercode to code the F series vehicles. Pretty simple to use and well worth it if you want to activate things like DVD in motion, and change the welcome lights etc. I use a Bluetooth dongle and it works a treat.

The cable is easy to find off Amazon or AliExpress. AliExpress is cheap but takes a long time, but it gets here eventually. OBD port, some CAT6 cable, a resistor and an RJ45 on the other end. No special electronics. Bid or Buy has them sometimes between R250 and R1500 depending on how much of a chancer the seller is :roflol:
I will swing past a place tomorrow to see if they have OBD2 connectors, though with a complete, tested cable ex China for under R200 it is hard to imagine this will be a worthwhile exercise.

Does E-Sys do this over and above the retrofit coding?

And where could one get this cable?
