F21 gear knob indicator lights.

Hey hope you all well and safe.

Has anyone experienced this and how to fix.
Gear knob lights indicate what gear you in and 15 seconds later thay switch off.
My car is a M135i 2014 F21.
Any Diy before taking it into Dealership?

The green light on my F30 [font=Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif](Sport-Auto)[/font] gear-shift was working intermittently, thankfully the car was still on motorplan. BMW replaced the whole gear-shift, cost was around R13k.
