F21 125i (JB4 + Downpipe) ???

Hi there guys, couldn't find the info I needed so hopefully someone can help me out here.

so I have the 2012 BMW F21 125i M Sport ( The vary rare 3 door ) N20B20 engine.

I really want to get the JB4 and downpipes for my car but am so worried about blowing a turbo (or the engine at that matter) or whatever and voiding my maintenance plan.

I am extending my warranty/maintenance plan in November as I believe this will increase my resell value of my car when I do choose to upgrade in possibly a year or two.

This car has so much potential but I don't want to ruin what is a hard car to find nowadays (currently on 69k Kms) and best to keep it original when selling.


(P.S who are the best people to do the job anyways? I reside in Johannesburg, Fourways area.)

Any input will be much appreciated.

Jb4 and downpipe alone will do nothing to the turbo. I have got a 125 F20. Put it through hell. I blew my turbo in march but thats because i ran Nitrous on stock turbo with JB4, Downpipe, Exhaust, Water/Meth, and Induction. The car put out 323kw on the wheels. But i knew that doing what i was doing i would break something
If i was you i would do Downpipe, JB4 and a turbo compressor wheel upgrade. Going to give you best gains. I have a brand new upgrade wheel i was going to use to upgrade mine but then it blew.

I have now gone big turbo and hopefully getting my car back soon

Some don't care as they purchase the car with idea in mind of tuning it.

Others wait for the motorplan to expire before tuning their cars.

Modding it definitely carries the risk of BMW finding out and voiding your motorplan, so do so at your peril.

Speak to Firi on the forum regarding JB4.
