3.0D motors are something special

From my E70, to F25 and now this F10.

The motor is much more quieter vs the 2.0d version. The power delivery so much smoother, after a while you forget it’s a diesel due to low idle noise.

Yes, the 3.0d is a peach of a motor. I had it in various models and its difficult to not come back to this engine, not even missing my 335i I had previously (except for the sound obviously)

This spec looks stunning Vince and a rare sight compared to the MSport. Haven't seen those wheels before too...they look great!

Thanks, it’s a rare fully loaded spec,
I couldn’t resist the comfort seats as mentioned before. They are extremely comfortable.

Hunting down an X5 with comfort seats now. for my significant other

Tonight I enjoyed yet another feature: adaptive lights (Auto Beam).

Made my trip much more flawless, didn’t have to adjust between dim and bright!

So far, happy!

This car is just on another luxury level,

I drove the 320i F30 yesterday, and I got that BMW driver feel vs the F10 I have. The steering in the F10 is not as driver orientated as the F30. The F30 felt more planted on the road too comparatively,

F30 felt a lot like a “practical car”, get in, go to the shops, come back type of car vs the F10 that has an “occasion feel” to it. More like for going to visit parents / in-laws, going on a holiday (longer trips). It’s extremely comfortable; as I had it on Comfort+ and the feature makes it’s even better (I really like the adaptive lights with High beam assist, the seating position with the multi adjustable comfort seats, best place to be). Only let down is the steering feel (if you are a typical BMW fan like me).

I guess again, two different cars for two different purposes.

Another thing:

Once you get used to seeing the new IDrive, the old one looks dated.
