Brink Towing Systems boasts a modern towbar manufacturing facility in Pietermaritzburg, equipped with a significant number of Yaskawa robotic welding cells.
My bro-in-law wanted to fit a towbar on his 18d, and he ended up going with Brink. He got the non-detachable option because it was at a great price, there was another option to detach the actual to hook manually and out it away easier only use when needed. Try them out and check.

There was about R2k price difference between detachable vs non-detachable so I ended up going with non-detachable. The detachable needs to be stored somewhere and I already had a subwoofer in the spare wheel well. Having to leave it at home just seemed like silly.
Unfortunately Brink doesn’t do electric folding as a aftermarket option. Audi quoted me R18k for that .
