One of the things that I dislike about my car is the interior color, always been a huge fan of black.

As I work in a workshop, my mats on the F10, frequently looks like this, and I had the car cleaned last week sometime, believe it or not

Thats disgusting... rest of the car does not look like that, but those floor mats.

The answer, BMW designed rubber mats

Purchased from BMW, was just under 1k for the fronts.

Here you can see the thickness of them, if they get dirty, you literally take them out, hose them down, dry them off and back they go.

As its an original part, fitment is perfect, and I actually recon it looks good.

These are velour type, also original, I had them in stock

The below, is us getting ready to leave for the coast tomorrow afternoon after work.

See you Saint Lucia Fanatics tomorrow evening some time :)

Cool! New rubber! How's the handling?!

Looks really nice! Have also been thinking of putting black mats (but normal mats) in my car - the grey mats get dirty really quickly!

Looks good LZ

They no longer make the rubber ones for the E39... :( Which is too bad really. I need a set

Not sure about the E46

Rubber mats are a must if you use your car frequently.

A fellow forum member has an oem set in his e46 330d, not to sure on what they cost though

Think the rubber has gold at its core :yuck: Would explain the price :roflol: I bought a set of rubber mats and modified them to fit properly. Serves the purpose and the silver outlines goes with my aluminium trim

Whenever I buy a car (BMW) they come stock with velours so I always insist the dealer throw in a set of rubber ones. It makes the interior look cleaner and gets the carpet to last longer.

In my F10, I have also installed a rubber boot mat, same as I did with the previous E90 to keep the boot clean from whatever my kids stroller can pick up.

Since buying the car, I have plastidipped the front kidneys, the car looks much much more aggressive and I have also plastidipped my rear model designation to give the car a more muted look.
