F10 drivertrain error intermittently in the morning

Hi

I recently purchased a 2011 N57 F10 530d. Everything was pretty normal until I got a random drivertrain error and it occurs only when cold in the morning. After a re-start, the error would go away.

Has anyone else experienced this on their F10 or N57?

Best is to have the codes read, could be something like a sensor as it goes away and you say the car drives fine otherwise.

I have access to a Bosch Easitronic tomorrow. I will check the code(s).
I will let you know what i find.

I've seen this on the N57 twice before, also occured only when the cars were cold, the EGR valve was the culprit...

Curious to see what error code it's throwing.

What is the current mileage on the car?

Ironic that you would say this, after all the reading I have done, I'm pretty convinced I have dirty soot build up in the EGR valve area.
Mileage is 115k km.

Let see what error you code, the egr valve gets stuck open and needs to be replaced
