F10 528i or F30 335i

So I was at BMW yesterday to follow up on my car's repair. Checked out the new showroom floor and then I got bitten by the new car idea.

They offered me a brand new 528i with most bells for R600k, but then I saw their 335i demo car, White with sports line package, red stitching on black leather, most extra's with 1,100km on the clock for R610k

Now which one would you take, both cars will do, but which one

As an alternative they have the same 335 coming in next month with the same spec, but with the actual sports pack (their launch car) at R630k:bangdesk:

Man! What's it like to have to make decisions like this?

Anyway, even though the F30 is still fresh, I personally think the F10 528i is the car to go for!

But, then, I have always preferred the 5 series BMWs. Always more exclusive, timeless and lasting qualities.

The F30 motor will give you much more of a thrill than the F10 but I seriously doubt that the overall drive quality of the F30 will match the F10.

Perhaps I am wrong but this was certainly the difference when I went from E90 to E60. It felt like 2 different car brands.

At the end of the day, it depends on what you are looking for in a car and I am by no way insinuating that the F30 has a poor drive quality. It's great but the F10 is just aimed at a different segment.

I would say wait for the F30 335 ///M Sport, I have seen pictures of it on the net, it looks hot. The 335 has an L6 engine as compared to the 528i which has a 4 cylinder 2.0T.

2010 - 2011 F10 528 had the I6 3.0 motor, then this year they swapped it for the 2.0 T motor  .

I would go for the F10 (I6) in terms of luxury and performance in one great package, nothing compares.

I'd take a 530d ... but the 3 and 5 are very different cars. One is biased towards a luxury car and the other towards a sports sedan.

I would go for the 5, new 3 series...I don't know, I still don't like the look of it.
New 5 is a thing of beauty!
