F10 520D mini write up

A couple of the forum members have PM’s me asking me to do a mini write up on my 520d that I recently bought.
2016 F10 520d Msport 73500kms
 
First off, I was surprised at how refined the diesel engines are, you really would not know the difference while driving the car. I went for a diesel, since the petrol motors were known for giving issues and with the torque output on the diesel engine it puts out, pulls the body of the F10 without issues
 
Pros:
Love the boot space
The interior is very spacious.
The build quality is much better than the F30’s
The fuel economy is great.
The infotainment system and connected drive IDrive is impressive.
 
Cons
The Msport ride is a bit stiff, but I knew that would be the case
Not storage space in the door pads, the pro here is that it stops junk from accumulating
Voice activated navigation can be frustrating at times to use
 
Other than that I’m loving the car

It's interesting that you say that the Msport ride is stiff. I can't say I share the same sentiment there... hmmm

Can we have some pics of the door pads? First time I am hearing of no storage space for 5er.

I will put up some pics.

Remember, i'm coming from driving a e90 with alot more space in the door pads.

I also had non runflat tyres on my 335i.

Also i wish the Ambient lighting was a bit brighter.

How's the sound system in the stock F10?
I assume it would be much better than an F30.
