ETA - How long to delivery?

Hi All,

I was wondering more or less how long it actually takes for a new BMW to be delivered from the time it arrives at the port in Durban?

According to the Owners Circle "Track my ordered vehicle" it will get to to the VDC in Roslyn on the 23rd Feb and Price Month 9th March. The cargo ship docked in Dbn yesterday, 15th Feb.

Who has first hand experience and are these dates accurate??:tiptoe:

You will have to wait for VDC to create the car in the system, etc, that usually takes a week or two depending on how many cars in that shipment. then it will go to carrier to be taken to your dealership. then you looking at a day or 4 for them to sort out all the paperwork, bank docs, pre delivery inspection.

Work on march, week1/2 to be safe.

of course these times can change, it can go very smoothly, or take a very long time, with delays experienced, van reenens being closed, truck strike etc.
