I agree. If think the beige takes away the whole sporty look. Besides those carpets must be a mission to keep clean

Msport colors like the Estoril Blue will always be the best in term of looks, however I had a Melborne Red that I gave back and one of the reasons was the stone chips that are more clearly visible on a metallic colour, the next issue is if the car needed a respray, to match the exact colour is quite difficult and there will be many issues with blending a metallic. I love the metallic colours but due to the above I would not buy these colours.

Well my e46 325i has done over 215 000 km and is easier to keep clean than my Alpine White II 1-er. Insects wash off easier, it doesn't show the dirt and dust as quickly as the 1 and needs less polishing. But it has the original Estoril Blue paint, before they changed to water based painting. And it doesn't show dirt and dust as quickly as the Alpine White does. Just my 2 cents.
It has become a very uhm.., common colour though. Don't know if I would choose it on a new BMW today.

That's because dirt and insects hit the 1-er harder :roflol:

But I must agree, Estoril Blue is becoming way too common on the new cars. It should be limited to Individual models. But still one of the best auto colours out there, next to white.

It is limited only for MSport models.

And they only sell MSport models because the normal one uhm... looks unfinished for lack of a better work.

The blue shows the dirt/scratches less than the white. Carbon used to be white. Rather go for the blue.

And get the black interior. Black is the only colour interior that I would go for. The beige and grey will show the dirt in a few years time. I hate the red interior.

I'm glad I did the Monte Carlo Blue instead of the Estoril Blue. The EB is too common already. The MC is only on the M models (M3, M5, M6, X5M and X6M) and not the M-sport pack cars

M-sport is also becoming far too common. As I said, should be limited to Individual only.

And SP33DYV, that photo is old :tease:
