looks like a piece of cake to replace, which is a good thing.
realoem price = $202.21 = R1 606 = very expensive ZA from dealer :)

Yeah its not that hard, you just need a waterpump locking tool and thin size 32 spanner, and remember than the bolt is reverse threaded.

This might also be a good time to overhaul the cooling system if it hasn't been done before.

If you need to replace the waterpump, there is only one that is good enough, the OEM one.

it is pretty much the only one you can get, the m3 waterpump is unique to it and not shared by another model

just ordered waterpump, thermostat, fanclutch, temp sensors and orings
+- R8K after discount.

will be good piece of mind anyway, especially after about 120K km

Yeah I know that but you do get replacement parts.....though I have read not to go for them, especially on the M3.

Yeah at that kind of mileage overhauling the cooling system is a very good idea.

Make sure you read how to bleed the cooling system like 1000 times before starting, always very stressful afterwards while you sit and stare at the temp gauge to see if it goes over halfway. :fencelook:
