Hi gents ....so i recently aquired a E46 318i auto with the M43 engine and although it was a good buy i discovered that the cars engine was a goner as i was hoping to revive this motor .So anyway after trying to source another motor i soon realised that they dont come cheap so someone i know had a E36 ,M43 engine to an essentially they are very similiar an i easy fit .So i have shifted the crank sensor an used all the original intakes an plugs an so far so good ................However when i tried to start it doesnt give any spark .....any advice on the way forward .....
