Hi guys, needs some help urgently here. My 335i N54, in the mornings the car takes long to start and when it does start, the car idles very very rough, clouds of white smoke comes out the exhaust with a strong fuel smell, the radiator fan comes on at full speed yet the car is ice cold! If I clear the faults the car runs fine until its gets parked off over night for a long period of time. Help please.

And check engine light comes on aswell

Sounds like you've got injector issues to me, likely a one or more leaking injectors hence the misfire codes/white smoke after leaving it overnight.

Sorry forgot to mention, I did downpipes 3 weeks ago, car started smoking from then, but that smoke had oil smell in it.

Sounds like the Cats on the original DP's were blocked thus only started smoking after the new ones.

Wow lots of possibilities unfortunately, but injectors would be a good start. Some of those errors are also boost leaks. Check if the charge pipe hasn't cracked? Was software done for the DP's?

What's the mileage on? Smoke after catless DP's is common as the old DP's might have been masking the problem. Another list of possible causes for that..................

Sounds like a injector issue
Access fuel in the combustion chamber in the will cause difficult starting in the morning and smoking untill that access fuel is burnt up
