So this past weekend, after getting sloshed, a friend of mine started talking abt my car and told him now both air flow meter and o2 sensor are shot and that buying bosch replacements is gna come to like 2.5k. He then told me why dont i put an management system instead as it doesnt need those sensor inputs and well il have the benefit of some tuning aswell (he did this on his 328i). Is this worth while thinking about? or is it just gna ruin my car?

Diesel Electric can supply you with the the sensors you need at a cheaper price than the agents.

Even if you do fork out the 2,5k, its still cheaper than a simple management system, which will cost around 3-5k, then you still need it installed and tuned.

drunken tuning FTL...

sensors are good they help the engine to run in a higher state of tune and be smoother while using less fuel...

fitting management to 'fix' sensors is like fitting a carb to 'fix' injectors...

Alpha/N management systems only require a throttle possition (Alpha angle) sensor and rpm (N) input

BUT..... believe me: Driving with such a system in daily traffic is no pleasure as there is no part load available at all!
These systems are meant for racing only and should stay with racing
