Engine fault

Hi Guys
I have an e92 M3. My car has picked up a fault. The engine power is reduced. It shows an engine sign which is yellow. What can be the fault? How can I sort this out?.

Not yet. Just wanted to see if anyone experienced the same thing so I know what to expect.

Hey bud,

There's a few things that'll cause an engine fault like that. It could be anything from Vanos issue to faulty coil packs. Best would be to have the codes read hey, else you'll be chasing your own tail trying to figure it out.

If Benoni isn't too far out for you, I will gladly assist.

Thanks Bud for the advice. I live on the east coast or else my car would have been to you a long time ago.

Shit ok. Off the top of my head is probably a failed coil pack or one of your throttle actuators that are acting up.

But like I said, you will have to get the codes read in order to get a better idea hey.
