Engine cleaner

Hi Gents

Recently had a bit of a b@llz up with my water pump on my E90 and coolant managed to find itself all over the engine bay!

Looking for something that will actually clean it instead of making it worse
Tried prepsol engine cleaner - which was a total disaster:argh:

Do you guy know of any good/ strong engine cleaners out there?

Prepsol works fine for me. Just need a little elbow grease as well. Use a soft brush or a cloth to get the dirt of.

Apply Prepsol on the surface and leave for a while.
Then with a brush re apply Prepsol and rub...and presto the area will be clean.

I swear by prepsol I even use it in my porridge.
