EML light, ASC light problem

Howzit guys,

This wekkend my car gave some problems. While travelling on the N1 in traffic my EML light suddenly appeared and my ASC traction light also came on to signal that traction control is turned off, and my acceleration pedal was very sensitive. Car would jump forward at the slightest touch.

At the next robot i switched the car off and back on again and the car seemed okay.

What would cause this?

Have the codes read buddy, I had that issue a few times,read it with inpa and turned out to be the idle control valve was jamming at 1800rpm under part throttle, replaced and problem fixed...

Jip get the codes read. I got a New scan tool I would try out for free
