Electrical Wierdness

Hi All

This one has me baffled, Driving home I indicated Right, completed the turn, the indicator stork returned to its middle position. but here's where the weird part came. the dash light and the clicking kept on going for a few minutes, the actual indicators on the car where off, just the dash was flashing. I took out the key and locked the car and it still kept plashing, moved the indicator stork up and down and nothing. then it stopped. it happened again 2 nights ago. Any ideas???

And to make things worse, this am the rain sensor wouldn't engage and then the car wouldn't lock or unlock with the remote key, I had to manually lock it.
And the memory button on my front elec seat isn't working.

Any help will be be supper appreciated.

Well for the indicator bit I would have to say that the LCM (light control module) is probably stuffed.

Best would be to have diagnostics done, will give you the best idea of what is wrong.

thanks, i will take it in on Monday, the key think is stressing me.

so no it gets worse, its like the car has no memory. Fan setting are defaulted, the dash is dim and the fog lights dont show on the cluster, then while im driving it all goes back to normal. :argh:

There's your problem right there - BMW drivers don't indicate.

Anyway, on a serious note, hows the condition of your battery as this might be the cause of the problems.
