OP, you do not need to remove the egr, just a simple bypass by blocking off the respective vacuum pipes will suffice :coolshake:

You mentioned N57, if the car is still on Mplan, revert back to original and clear the error code before services, unless you've got a cool dealer :cartel:

Dude I told you in my first post. What to do and it takes 5 seconds to do it. Unplug the vacuum pipe going to the valve. Block said vacuum pipe. Block vacuum inlet on egr valve where vacuum pipe was connected. The valve is controlled by vacuum. With no vacuum it stays closed essentially disabling the egr. This is the simplest way to go about it.
