As per the title looking at getting some of these kits for people interested from Darkside Developments in the UK. 

Looking at bringing some of the EGR Delete kits for the N47/N47N/N57 and N57N engines. 
These are the 20d/30d found in the E series and F series cars. 


Please let me know if you want me to get a kit in for you and we can arrange the logistics.

Depends on what engine you have.. either the N47 or the N47N

Currently the costs from Darkside are

1400 ish for the kit with postage via Royal mail .
1800 ish for the kit with postage via DHL,

Both of these doesnt include customs or vat when the kit arrives in JHB.

I have placed a order for some kits and will advise when i have them in hand and whats the best pricing i can offer.
Going to be trying for around the 1500 mark but no promises on this

Hi Danny. Is it possible to do an EGR delete via software only? Also, what are the downsides of installing the EGR delete kit, if any. Excuse my ignorance.

You can delete the EGR via the software but it would need to be blanked off physically also or fit the delete kit which removes the EGR valve and cooler all together.
No downsides i know of from installing the EGR delete kit.

The m57n2 kits are different from the N57 kits.
They will not fit. We need to order the correct kit for your car.

Btw., i have found local company that cuts egr delete kits for Toyota and Ford for very very good prices. At the moment they are doing alterations at their business so have not been able to discuss the possibility of making kits for BMW's. Would there be any interest from the Forum?

i would like to purchase a egr delete kit from you if you have any available.
i own a N47 e90.

Not sure if Danny2 is still on the Forum as you can see no response since 2020.
I got a blanking plate from a local company and fitted that which blanked off the egr exhaust gasses from entering the inlet manifold.
The water/cooling part is still in place as one needs a "full" kit to replace the egr proper. Contact me if you need the blanking plate.
My car also has the N47 motor.
