Eco pro mode gains!

Good day all.

What's your average extra km' s you gain with eco pro mode with mixed driving?

Car model = km

I gain about 40 km on a tank With my 320i 2012.

I never bothered, the cars were too damn lazy when in Eco mode.

cant live with eco pro mode, I rather loose some money and fuel and put up with eco pro. On the few occasion I did use it i found it to be very efficient

Hi there.

It depends on how much fuel you put in. Let me explain. The extra km's will increase and peak until it equals your fuel range, from where it then keeps on going down with your fuel range. I normally put in R400 and the most I got was 127km extra km's on EcoPro. On one occasion I put in R500 and I got 145km extra km's on EcoPro. Thus, the more fuel range you have available, the higher the peak extra km's is possible. Hope this makes sense. I must admit it is sometimes difficult to keep it in EcoPro but the extended km's makes it worthwhile.

BTW, I drive a 2012 F30 320i manual and I use the car daily to work and back on a quiet road, roughly 65km's per day.

about 30 or so for me which will go away as soon as I hit the open road.

Only real use of eco pro for me is my wife uses it. She does not come right with my car without it. Guess it conserves neck muscles

Thats quite a bit, in my wife's X3 the most I got was about 45km+, and I can get over 1000km's on a tank on long trips, will check again on my next trip at the end of the month.

I never bother with ECO PRO. To have to remember to switch to it every time I start the car is too much of a hassle. Besides the car feels sluggish when driving in ECO PRO. I avg over a 1000km per tank of Diesel anyway in Comfort Mode.

42km gained this afternoon from south coast to jozi.. 720km total run in the 335i. :coolShake: no need for any more power on the open road anyway so kept it in ECO Pro 99% of the way..

BMW should allow you to program it to be default or not similar to what you can do with the M button.

aag I just drive sensibly in comfort gives good consumption as well until some cake pisses me off then I have to red line and consumption is messed up. My car loves the open road range was close to 900 until I had to go to Midrand yesterday now it is like 830 or so including kms done. I am happy though gievs me two weeks of travelling to work and a bit on the weekend.

F30 328 going down to Durban on eco-pro I got 138km the best ever!

Ok so, just got to Durban, total of 591km from door to door, drove the X3 this time and have 490km left on the range, (just below half tank) avg speed 115.6km/h and consumption on 6.2l/100km, Eco pro mode only shows +62km. I just cannot get close to +100km...
