Only the best will do - this principle also applies to the extreme temperature-resistant M Performance muffler.

This is made from the chrome-nickel composite familiar from racing cars. The double-ended 74 millimeter pipes so typical of M models are made from polished titanium.

The result will not only stimulate the synapses, but also represents an approximately 40 percent weight saving in comparison with the standard part – corresponding to about 9 kilograms.

I saw one of these backboxes going for 1500 brand new on the gum. Is it worth it for an E36? Obviously mods will need to be made to put it in place.

Well I did say its the backbox if you read my 1st post. Would one of these be worth the modification in my car?

it wouldnt fit your car without serious body modification, eg cutting out your spare wheel well.

Wow that backbox is cheap for new or even used for that matter :). It can work on the E36 with some heavy modifications to the boot floor. How ever it will make the car slower because not only of its weight but also it being very restrictive, as it has to keep that V8 quite.
