E9x 17" M Mags colour change

Thought i share this, as i was endlessly searching the net for pics of the 17" M mags in a close to "BMW ferric grey" colour, with none to be found!

I had my mags refurbished before putting new tyres on and whilst holding thumbs decided to go for a colour change which in the end turned out looking pretty good, to my liking that is!


If anyone else have been searching for something similar.. here's a pic!

I had the same done to my rims....subtle but a nice change of look to the car.

Looks good! i like subtle changes, I'm also thinking of the carbon roundels on bonnet and boot.

I still need to get to taking decent pics, got distracted by the terrible work the panel beater did on the hail damage and on top of that a broken DISA flap this week! :thumbdo: joy of motoring i guess!

Hi everyone,

Finally managed to get some better daylight pics with a camera.

I'm thinking of doing something with the mirror caps too, may same colour as the wheels or Matt aluminum like M135i's of late, any thoughts?

Ironically, the biggest motivation was to "hide' the brake dust, now I pay attention to the cleanliness of the wheels, much more than ever!!
