technical E92 Wiper Issue

I'm at my wits end..
When I received the car, the windows would not stay closed (close and drop a little bit) and the seatbelt butlers were not working. I took it to a friend who did a scan which showed the FRM to be in transport mode. I took that info and decided to read up on it as its all gibberish to me.. The next day the wipers went dead.

I had the battery checked (that's what GPT told me to do) and what do you know, it needed replacing. Replaced the battery, had it registered and voila, the windows + seatbelt butlers started working. Replaced the wiper fuse and it came it to life again but only for a few days. Replaced the fuse again to bring it back to life. At this point I didn't notice that it only worked on the first speed. I called SMG parts to get a price on an FRM and I was directed to an indy who specializes in these repairs. He did a scan and it pointed to "JBE/Junction box". Off I went to procure a junction box..

Junction box procured, installed and coded. Wipers blew a fuse again.
Took it to another indy who told me to get a new wiper motor.. Ka-ching! (The sound of money leaving my account) A used wiper motor purchased and fitted.. and what do you know.. wipers still only working on one speed. Indy checked the relay, an after-market one was fitted. Back to BMW I went, ka-ching again!
New OEM Relay fitted, wipers STILL working like a snail. He has advised me to take it back to my buddy who can reinitialize the wiper module. If that doesn't fix the issue... Do I just push it down a bank?

Could it not be a faulty wiper switch? Definitely not the same one thats on the indicator stalk right because that one never gets used by "bmw drivers" lol....

Did the car undergo that airbag replacement recently... Bmw actually make you sign a disclaimer to say that they aren't liable for any frm issues that may occur during the airbag replacement

Indy did say it could be the switch, apparently its a bit of a biggish job to replace. The green light does switch on when I click the "auto" button.

Airbag recall not done as yet. It seems that the FRM is fine.

Blowing the fuse is points to a dead short or pulling too many amps, I dont think a module will do that.

Start by testing the wiring for shorts/continuity then move on to measuring the current draw on start up/working.
