Heat soak and supercharger come hand in hand. You cannot even compare turbos vs superchargers when it comes to heat soak. In this case using the new twin turbo motors keeps the cold side on the outside which according to the initial reports neither the X5M nor the X6M or the 550i suffer from bad heat soak. I think you might have missed the part that this is the X5M engine and not a custom conversion.
