E92 M3 Service Due Indicator @ 9800Km's

Hi All,

I got the service due indicator for my E92 M3 on at 9800 km's. The service indicator was to far off before. I am puzzled now on why this could be.

My vehicle is parked in the garage for most of the time and I start the vehicle every weekend. Could it be a low battery error? I also used a CTEK 5,0 charger to get the battery levels up when the vehicle is parked off.

Any idea's or is this a normal service indicator I am not aware of. I booked in the vehicle for a service this week. I just want to avoid any nasty surprises when I get there.

Oil level is half way...

Service indicator works on time as well as mileage. Presumably it's reached the time marker rather than the mileage marker.

UPDATE : I went into BMW with my key this morning. They told me that all fluid levels and mechanical was fine. The service due is for Emission. BMW does not set the emission in South Africa. They merely reset the warning. Its talked about 2 mins and I can drive my vehicle in anytime to have it done.
