E92 E93 Battery

Hi all, I hardly use my E93 330i and have a problem that it looses the date and time every time I start it with a message "Increased Battery Discharge". I've searched the net and it turns out I need to replace the battery. It also turns out that I've got to do it at a BMW Dealer so that the ECU is re-programmed/modified to charge the new battery. Where can I go to have the correct battery fitted and the software updated with no problems afterwards at a reasonable price?

U can put any battery. Just get someone to register the battery:thumbs:

Hello Yuben,

Please forgive my ignorance but how do you register the battery? Does someone have to connect to the cars ecu and register it? If this is the case who can do it for me?

Bro it's done via the OBD port if i recall correctly. Anyone with INPA on the forum can assist you.
