E92 335i XENON HEADLIGHT ADJUSTMENT

Hi Guys,

So a few weeks back I had a small bumper bashing where the left headlight, bumper, bonnet and few other things had to be replaced (Radiator etc all fine thank God).

When I picked my car back (repaired at Auto Alpina Springs as still under motorplan), I noticed that the left headlight was a bit loose, and the light beam focused lower than the right hand side.......

I have sent it back today for this to be checked out, but am wondering if anybody has had experience with adjusting the light beams coming from the headlamps (or knows of a BMW dealership that an have this looked at and adjust to factory spec)? And if anybody knows why the headlamp was loose lol as I am sure the person working on my vehicle would not have purposely not tightened the headlight bolts.......

Thanks,

Howsit man, You can adjust the headlights yourself, all you need is a flathead screw driver...

I found oem specs little too low on the xenons. I usually adjust a few turns up. However on the cars I have adjusted its because the self leveling stopped working.
