E92 335i upgrades

Hi all. I'm a newbie to the forum and I'm sure this topic has been discussed at length . However I'm trying to get my head around the tune or don't tune my 2010 N54 335i (still on m/plan) issue.

My initial two items to upgrade would be software and down pipes.
I have people telling me that any tinkering with the software can be detected by BMW even if the map is removed before a service. There is even tuners afraid to get involved with a mplan car.

Also what's better piggyback or ecu mods

I need to make a decision quick as the wife is waiting to use this money:blab:

For motor plan, i would avoid the DPs all together, theyre just too much work to remove and replace everytime you wanna take it in for a service. As for a piggy back or software. Thats something you will need to decide. There are many advertisers here on the forum that will advise you accordingly! :thumbs:

Jb4 plug and play.... It's not perfectly undetectable but if you use some circumspect and common sense like removing the system well before due services and not bragging to the techs then you should be ok 9 out of 10 times...
